Put God First and the Rest Will Follow

I wanted to try out my new snowboard this weekend. Instead, I'm going to guard duty. Once I get there it's not so bad. Its just getting up at 5:30 in the morning that kills. Actually once I'm there its a nice break from the drudgery of sitting at a desk all day troubleshooting circuits. Since I'm getting older I have started to analyze life more -- decide what exactly if any goals I want to accomplish. So far my general strategy has been to drift along with the ebb and flow of life having as much fun as possible along the way.
Although it's easy to define goals, it's relatively hard to maintain the motivation necessary to achieve those goals without some inner desire or drive.
So, you ask, "Where can I round up the motivation to be squared away and achieve my goals?"
I figured out that every goal I have ever achieved has been because of some inner belief or desire -- in other words -- a principle.
When you live life based on principles -- goals are easily attained and new goals naturally unfurl. This is why so many people that have a belief system are successful. Embracing Christian beliefs for example, helps one define what's important and what's not.
Not to get too religious -- I'm talking about spirituality really - it's a good thing.
In other words -- put God first and the rest will follow.
